One Female, One Sanitary Pad: Empowering Women Through Health and Dignity

Every year, the organisation works on an initiative called 1 Female 1 Sanitary Pad. The goal of this project is to supply sanitary towels to young girls, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds who cannot afford them. Students (girls) at Life Community Special School in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, notably Deduako, need sanitary towels, according to a survey conducted a year prior to this initiative.

Journey to the West: Exploring Ghana’s Western Region While Giving Back

10th May 2024, Addie's Afrique Foundation embarked on a project titled "Journey to the West", aimed at supporting less privileged schools in the Western Region of Ghana. The foundation visited Mmredane Basic School and Apronpronso Basic School, where the team distributed essential learning materials to improve teaching and learning experiences.

Empowering Girls: Menstrual Hygiene Initiative at Mberedane STMA Basic School, Takoradi

A menstrual hygiene campaign called Empowering Girls was held in the Mmredane STMA Basic School in Tarkoradi, Ghana's Western Region. This initiative was organised as a result of the school's reaction to the Journey To The West project, in which the headmaster requested that the organisation provide sanitary towels to the school's girls in order to promote menstrual hygiene.
