This project took place in the Ashanti Region, a village called the Atia on 6th March, 2023. The project was a collaboration with other two renowned organizations; Osiabou’s foundation and Strength In Disability( SiD). A survey was conducted by the team and the results came out that the Atia community has a quite number of people living with physical disability both children and the aged and majority and are not equipped enough with issues on disability. The Let Hit the Street project, organized by Addie's Afrique Foundation, aimed to provide holistic support to people with physical disabilities by addressing their social, physical, and psychological needs.

The team carried out physiotherapy exercises to improve mobility and physical well-being, while also providing essential supplies such as:

  • Foodstuffs to assist with daily nutrition.
  • Detergents and toiletries to promote hygiene and personal care.
  • Psychoeducation sessions, focusing on mental health awareness and emotional support to help individuals cope with the psychological challenges often associated with physical disabilities.
